About

Chapter India

Being half Indian, Prosenjit always wanted to delve deeper into his roots, and move to his father’s homeland of India, with a vision to contribute socially through his love for dance. In December 2005, Prosenjit moved to India and was the pioneer to formally teach styles like House, Hip Hop, Breaking, Popping and Locking and melding it into the existing dance culture. Prosenjit spent countless hours teaching and creating awareness for free about these forms across India through his workshops and training. He even initialised the novel idea of what a “dance crew” is and eventually starting his own called “KUNDU HOUSE PROJECT” which continues to be active in underground battles and the commercial scene. Prosenjit was also a judge on India’s first ever Street Dance Televison Show called Footloose on Channel V. He created a large base of online tutorials and classes catered to the Indian dancers to familiarise them with these forms. Prosenjit’s latest project is “CAMP KUNDU” which is a unique program that teaches students with a fun approach utilising ones creativity in a non conventional way through drills, concepts, vocabulary, techniques, musicality and style. Prosenjit continues to share his knowledge, expertise and creativity globally.
